Our regulator (the Solicitors Regulation Authority) requires us to publish guide pricing for certain areas of legal work which you will find on this website. The aim of this to give you an idea of what typical costs may look like with our firm.

 

Our Pricing Approach

Many matters are completely priced on a ‘fixed fee’ basis which creates clarity in what exactly is (and is not) in the scope of work under that fee agreement.
Oftentimes, a case may commence on a ‘fixed fee’ basis until we will know the complexities of the case. Once that stage of work completes, the matter would ordinarily proceed on an ‘hourly rate’ basis.

Common Billable Items

• Routine letters, emails, calls and texts – 1/10 of hourly rate (£30 at the highest end)
• Mileage – £0.45 + VAT per mile travelled
• Preparation, attendance, travelling, casework and client communication – at our solicitor’s hourly rate

Typical Fee

We have published typical fees to give you a good idea of the costs involved for our representation in the following practice areas:

1. Family (Domestic Abuse Hearing, (Child Arrangement, Pre-Trial Review Hearing, Injunction Proceedings, Occupational Order)
2. Immigration (Excluding Asylum)
3. Crime (Police Station Representation)
